At Borge's Imaging we value your privacy and under the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Policy, any personal information we collect will be kept securely. This statement is our commitment to you, the consumer, of your privacy and the information we collect and hold.

We do not require consumers to disclose any information about them in order to browse our website and only require minimal information in order to make a purchase.

We will treat personal information we collect from you as strictly confidential. Other than as set out below, we will not reveal, disclose, pass on, sell, rent, distribute, share or licence to any third parties any personal information that you may have provided to us, unless we have your prior express consent to do so.

When you register on the Borge's Imaging website you are automatically added to our mailing list. If you prefer not to receive information from Borge's Imaging, you can unsubscribe by sending an email request to sales@borge.com.au or by following the unsubscribe link on any newsletter you may receive from Borge's Imaging.

When you process a transaction with Borge's Imaging, all of your personal information, including your credit card number, is encoded with the latest encryption technology (see Secure Sockets Layer). This means it cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system.

Our order processing centre is not connected to the Internet and is not accessible in any way. Borge's Imaging does not collect financial information to process your payment. This information is solely handled by our banking partner and is collected on a secure server. This information is confidential and cannot be accessed beyond our banking institution.

 

Automatic Data Collection

Due to the nature of the Internet, there is certain information that is transmitted to us automatically, such as your IP address and the browser you are using. This information is collected for purely statistical reasons as part of our ongoing development however we do not attach any personal information to these statistics. Similar information is also transmitted along with any emails sent. This information is not stored.

 

Payment

Prices of products, service, delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of issue, but are subject to change at any time. If stock is unavailable, a customer service representative will be in contact regarding this.

GST

GST (Goods and Services Tax) of 10% is inclusive in all our prices. All prices stated are in Australian dollars.

Credit Card - we accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard with no surcharge, except for Nikon Professional products.

Credit Card Verification Process

Why may I be asked to supply further Identification?

Your transaction via the Borge's Imaging website and the eWay payment portal is secure to use.

Borge's Imaging adheres to strict security checks to reduce the chance of credit card fraud.

Although your credit card is processed through an electronic payment gateway, this process of funds is not acknowledgement of a successful transaction according to the Borge's Imaging security policy.

All Credit Card details will go through an Address Verification (AV) process. If the AV fails Borge's Imaging will seek additional proof of identity.
To prevent this extra request, Borge's ask that all information is supplied and that all fields are completed.

What may cause my AV to fail?

You must supply the billing address & phone number that matches the credit card you have used.
Please note PO Boxes and Mobile Phone numbers are not acceptable.

Borge's will use this information to match the credit card to the details you have supplied.

If you wish to have the goods shipped to an alternative address please supply a "ship to" address in the comments section of the order form.

Quick processing of your order

If Borge's cannot verify your address we will request additional identification. This may delay the shipping of your order. To expedite the delivery of your order please be sure all information is present and correct.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

When you are entering your details during the online ordering process, you may select one of the following delivery options:

    Australia Post Person-to-Person
    In Store Pickup

If, by chance, you select the incorrect delivery option for your purchased products, you will be contacted by a Borge's Imaging customer service representative.

 

Australia Post Person-to-Person

Borge's Imaging use Australia Post person-to-person Registered Mail delivery for all online sales.
This ensures that the article is specifically signed for by the person named in the address. The cost of delivery is a flat rate of $16.50

Delivery Times: Standard Delivery Time is 3 to 5 Working Days

As Australia Post Person-to-Person requires a signature and proof of ID from the person named on the order, you will be asked to specify an address during business hours that delivery can be made to and signed for (this may be your work address). If you are not available at the time of delivery, a card will be left for you at that address asking you to contact Australia and arrange an alternative delivery or pick up of your order.

Note: Borge's Imaging do not deliver to any other countries other than Australia.

 

In Store Pickup

You may elect to pick up your online purchase at any Borge's Imaging in Australia. There is no charge for this service.

Please allow 24 hours for verification of your payment and to check the store selected has the products ordered in stock.

(Please note orders place on the weekend can not be verified until Monday)

Please specify the store you wish to collect your purchase from in the Comments field when completing your details.

Please note, valid Australian Photo ID (matching the details on the order) must be presented on collection of the goods in store.

 

14 Day Exchange Guarantee

If for any reason you are not happy with your hardware purchase, Borge's Imaging offer a 14 day Exchange Guarantee. This allows you to return a hardware product you have purchased within 14 days and exchange it (at original purchase price) for any other hardware product in our range.
If there is nothing that you wish to exchange your purchase for, Borge's also offers account credit.

Goods must be returned in original condition with the packaging and receipt.

Offer excludes perishables (such as film and inks), special orders, demo models & run-outs. Some professional products are excluded.

The purchased items can be sent back or taken to Borge’s Imaging to be exchanged. Return postage is not included.

Borge's 14 day exchange guarantee is in addition to any statutory consumer rights.

 

Manufacturer’s Warranty

All manufacturers offer a 12 month warranty. Should your Borge’s purchase need service under warranty you can bring it to Borge's Imaging to facilitate the service under the terms of your Manufacturer’s warranty.
