The Peak Design Everyday Backpack is an extremely versatile and intelligently designed bag crafted by a team of designers, engineers and photographers. With features specifically aimed at photographers, the backpack is created for use by everyone for all kinds of purposes - be it adventure or commuting in a city.
MagLatch Closure System
Its updated MagLatch locking mechanism allows effortless, one-handed, silent opening and closing of the bag. The latch locks onto one of the four crossbar mounting points and also magnetically attaches to an internal steel plate for added security. The four ladder lock points allow the bag to expand or contract by up to 8 litres, depending on the amount of stuff you need to carry.
Configurable Internal Storage
Compression moulded EVA foam FlexFold dividers allow configuring the interior layout extremely efficiently to maximise the available space. The origami-inspired foldable dividers can be shaped to create custom compartments to hold and protect gear. The three padded octagonal inserts can be folded to wrap around, rest flat to provide a shelf for gear, act as a pass-through from one side of the bag to the other or can be folded up to seal off compartments and create sub-compartments. Attached with Velcro, the inserts can be removed completely to create a single large compartment to carry everyday essentials.
Innovative 3-Side Access
The main compartment is accessible from the top and both sides via a top flap and side hatches. This versatility delivers multiple points of entry from which you can access your camera gear, ensuring you're always ready to capture the moment. The side flaps open up the entire length and width of the bag, and in conjunction with the configurable dividers, eliminate the need to dig deep to find what you need.
Multiple Carrying Styles
The Everyday backpack 20L v2 offers a variety of carrying options to suit your style and personal preference. Designed as a backpack, the bag is equipped with padded shoulder straps that feature axial attachment points for a perfect fit. A durable and comfortable top handle and briefcase-style carry handles on either side ensure easy pick-up-and-go, regardless of how the bag is laid down. In addition, a pass-through strap on the rear of the bag allows you to slip it over the handle of a roller bag for convenient transit when you're travelling with more than one piece of luggage.
Effortless Shoulder Strap Adjustment
Ergonomically designed quick pull shoulder straps with tri-glide buckles allow you to loosen the backpack and swing it around to the front. This allows access to your favourite cameras and lenses through the side flaps without removing the bag from your body.
Thoughtful Pocket Layout
The numerous pockets in and around the backpack are intelligently designed to facilitate the workflow of photographers. An exclusive laptop pocket accessible from the top, without opening the main compartment, includes two sub-pockets - a sleeve for a tablet or a smartphone and a quick stash pocket for documents and books. The inside panel of the two side flaps features a bevy of discreet and well-organised pockets, protected with a zippered waterproof cover. A small concealed inner slip pocket with magnetic closure is ideal for valuables such as credit cards and cash, while expandable external side pockets allow holding items such as water bottles or a tripod.
Ventilated Back Panel
A corrugated EVA foam back panel ensures faster release of heat and limits perspiration for enhanced all-day carrying comfort.
Versatile External Carrying Options
Included external carry straps along with multiple anchor points throughout the bag enable customisable external carry in several different combinations, permitting you to attach items such as a sleeping mat, umbrella, tripod or camera drone on the outside of the backpack.
Weatherproof Shell
Water-proof external zippers and a DWR impregnated 100% recycled fabric features a with multilayer PU coating to ensure protection to equipment by preventing water penetration through the fabric.

The 20 litre Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 can comfortably carry a full-frame DSLR body with up to 4 lenses, such as a prime lens, a 14-24mm, and a 24-70mm or 70-200mm, a 15-inch laptop, tablet, smartphone, a tripod and loads of accessories well organised in the numerous pockets.
